The ‘Quick Fix’
Package is priced irrespective of breed.
The Prices on the Fees Table
- Are indicative of your dog being of a standard breed size.
- Are indicative of your dog having an acceptable coat condition.
- May vary, taking into consideration the length of your dogs’ coat.
- May vary, dependent on your dogs behaviour.
Additional charges will apply for aggressive, difficult, special needs dogs. Additional charges will also apply for dogs over breed standard size, dogs with matted coats, extra long coats or flea-infested coats.
The additional charges are necessary for the additional labour required, extra time taken, the care and professional skills required to look after these dogs.

LATE / AFTER HOURS FEE
Due to Capital Grooming’s appointment scheduling, should you be late for an appointment, an additional fee of $15.00 per 15 minutes will apply. On some occasions it may be necessary to re-book your appointment for another day.
Capital Grooming closes at 5.30pm; we would appreciate your co-operation in collecting your dog before our closing time. If you are running late please phone with a courtesy call to let us know.
MISSED APPOINTMENTS
Should you miss an appointment without a prior courtesy phone call to Capital Grooming an additional fee of $25.00 will apply on your next visit.
Reminder phone calls are available and can provide you with an opportunity to reschedule if you know you will be unable to attend.
EXPRESS GROOM FEE
‘Express Grooming’ appointments are available at the discretion of Capital Grooming. Should you wish to collect your dog before our original allocated pick up time an additional fee of $50.00 will apply.
BRUSH OUT FEE
Due to the extra time required to brush out a knotted or matted coat an additional fee of $50.00 - $100.00 will apply. We will advise you of this on the admittance of your dog or with a follow up phone call before we continue with their grooming procedure.
Please note: the condition of some dogs prevents us from being able to brush out their coat. This may be because it would be inhumane, dangerous or just impossible.
FLEAS
If during the grooming process we discover that your dog has fleas we will contact you. An additional charge will apply as it is necessary for us to treat your dog with flea eradication products as well as the grooming environment. This charge will vary from $20 to $50 depending on the size of the dog and the volume of fleas.
